The Deck Floodlight and Masthead Lamp combined in one robust housing is designed for use on vessels less than 20 meters in length. This versatile lighting solution offers both a 3 Nautical Mile Masthead lamp and a Deck Floodlight, providing illumination for large areas of the deck or superstructure.
The masthead lamp utilizes Hella's 'Free Form' reflector technology, which ensures efficient light distribution and visibility over a long distance. The lamp comes with flexible mounting arms that can be adjusted to fit various mast profiles, offering flexibility in installation.
The housing of the lamp is made from UV and impact-resistant plastic, providing durability and resistance to harsh marine environments. The glass lens is bonded with the reflector to create a dust and moisture-resistant seal, and the bulbs are covered to protect them from moisture.
The lamp includes two bulbs: a 12V / 10W BAY15d bulb for the masthead lamp and a 12V / 55W H3 bulb for the deck floodlight. The mounting of the lamp requires separate wiring, and the housing arms can flex to fit around the mast profile.
With a degree of protection rated as IP X4, the lamp offers protection against water splashing from any direction. It complies with various international regulations and standards, including BSH, IMO COLREG, USCG, RINA, ABYC A-16, NMSC, and Maritime NZ.
Overall, this combined Deck Floodlight and Masthead Lamp provides a convenient and efficient lighting solution for smaller vessels, offering reliability and functionality with its robust construction and versatile mounting options.
