Effortless Braking with Superior Control
The Load Rite 6,600lb Disc Brake Actuator - Tie Down Engineering Model is engineered for optimal braking performance and seamless towing experience. Designed to synchronize your trailer brakes with your tow vehicle's brakes automatically, this actuator offers reliable, responsive braking for heavy loads.
General Description
The Model 660E utilizes a surge or push mechanism to activate the trailer brakes. When the trailer moves toward the tow vehicle, the actuator compresses, generating hydraulic pressure that engages the brakes. This system ensures smooth and synchronized braking, providing added safety and control during towing. The built-in dampening shock absorber reduces telescoping shock against the hitch ball, enhancing towing stability. Manufactured to fit tongue sizes of 3”x 3”, 3”x 4”, and 3”x 5”, this actuator is ready for immediate installation.
