Furuno - FAX30 Navnet Black Box - Weather Fax
Seamless Weatherfax and Navtex Reception
The Furuno FAX30 transforms any NavNet display or PC into a fully functional Weatherfax and Navtex receiver, providing mariners with crucial weather updates and navigational information in real time. Designed as a waterproof black box unit, it integrates effortlessly with NavNet displays or an Ethernet hub via a single Ethernet cable. When connected to an Ethernet hub with multiple NavNet displays, each display gains access to the FAX30’s functionalities. Additionally, a standard PC with an Ethernet card can be used to display and manage incoming weather and navigational data.
This paperless solution enhances maritime safety by delivering up-to-date weather images directly to a 10.4" NavNet display or a connected PC. With user-friendly softkey menu navigation on NavNet and intuitive web browser access on PCs, the FAX30 simplifies data retrieval without requiring proprietary software. Mariners can even print images and messages from a connected PC for reference and documentation.
For optimal weather tracking, the FAX30 integrates seamlessly with NavNet’s true-color radar, providing a comprehensive solution for navigating through uncertain conditions.
