Amp up your Power Control with the 7700100 ML Solenoid and its 7702100 counterpart
Discover the ultimate power control solution with the 7700100 ML Solenoid and its sibling, the 7702100 ML Solenoid. These cutting-edge devices are designed to provide high amperage switching under load, whether you prefer manual control or remote operation. With their exceptional features and specifications, these solenoids offer unparalleled convenience and safety.
The 7700100 ML Solenoid and the 7702100 ML Solenoid share remarkable features that make them stand out in the market. Both models boast a manual override knob, ensuring an added level of safety by allowing control with or without power. This feature also provides a LOCKED OFF capability for convenient servicing. Additionally, an optional LED output allows for remote indication of the switch state, keeping you informed at all times.
When it comes to construction, these solenoids leave no room for compromise. They feature 3/8"-16 tin-plated copper studs that ensure maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance, guaranteeing long-lasting performance even in demanding environments. The 7/8" stud length accepts multiple cable terminals, providing flexibility in installation. Furthermore, label recesses are included for easy circuit identification, streamlining your power control setup.
One of the key distinguishing factors between the 7700100 and 7702100 models lies in their nominal voltage. The 7700100 operates at 12VDC, while the 7702100 runs on 24VDC. This difference allows you to choose the solenoid that best suits your specific power requirements, ensuring optimal performance in your application.
Both models feature a coil function that is bi-stable, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. They come with a mounting capability of #10, making installation hassle-free. The solenoids have an impressive continuous rating of 500A, with an intermittent rating of 700A for a duration of 5 minutes. In addition, their cranking rating of 1450A DC for 30 seconds demonstrates their robustness and ability to handle high current demands.
Rest assured that these solenoids meet stringent safety standards. They are equipped with silver alloy contacts that provide high reliability when switching live loads, ensuring consistent performance and minimizing the risk of electrical issues. With a mechanical endurance of 100,000 cycles, they are built to withstand frequent usage without compromising on functionality.
The 7700100 ML Solenoid and the 7702100 ML Solenoid are designed for ease of use and flexibility. They have a terminal ring diameter clearance of 1.18" (29.97 mm) and a terminal stud length of 0.875" (22.23 mm). The terminal stud size is 3/8" - 16 (M10), accommodating various cable terminals. These solenoids are compact and lightweight, weighing just 1.75 lb (0.79 kg), making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
As with any product, safety is of utmost importance. Both solenoids come with a warning regarding exposure to di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
