The housing of the Sea Hawk-R is made from a precision injection-molded thermally conductive ceramic polymer, which is non-metallic and highly resistant to degradation, even under harsh UV conditions. This innovative design allows for efficient heat transfer from the internal electronics to the external surfaces, ensuring reliable long-term operation. By using this thermal polymer, the need for an aluminum housing is eliminated, reducing the risk of surface deterioration and material corrosion often associated with coated metal in marine environments.

With a power consumption of only 7 watts, the Sea Hawk-R offers an impressive light output of 550 lumens. The engineered optical system provides a wide and close-range spread of light, making it ideal for illuminating cockpits, foredecks, or working areas on both commercial and recreational vessels.

Hella marine has incorporated various benchmark features into the Sea Hawk-R, including protected internal electronics operating within a voltage range of 9 to 33 volts, sealed and pre-wired cable assemblies, a Grilamid lens for strength and UV resistance, easy friction-based vertical adjustment, and 316 stainless steel brackets and fastenings. Additionally, the Sea Hawk-R is backed by Hella marine's renowned "Fit and Forget" 5-year LED warranty, providing peace of mind and reliability.

The Sea Hawk-R's housing is made of a non-metal thermally conductive polymer, and it features a heavy-duty Grilamid lens. The bracket is made of polished 316 stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The floodlight has a color temperature of 5000K (white) and comes pre-wired with 0.5 meters of twin-core marine cable. It operates on a multivolt system with a voltage range of 9 to 33 volts DC. The floodlight has a degree of protection of IP67, indicating it is completely sealed against dust and water ingress.

The power consumption is 7 watts, equivalent to less than 0.6 amps at 12 volts or less than 0.3 amps at 24 volts. The weight of the floodlight, including the cable, is 250 grams.
