The Sea Hawk-R housing is made of a thermally conductive ceramic polymer, which is highly resistant to degradation, even under harsh UV conditions. This non-metal design effectively transfers heat away from the internal electronics to the external surfaces, ensuring reliable long-term operation. The use of this thermal polymer eliminates the need for an aluminum housing, reducing the risk of surface deterioration and material corrosion often associated with coated metal in the marine environment.
With a light output of 550 lumens, the Sea Hawk-R provides a wide and close-range spread of light. It is suitable for illuminating cockpits, foredecks, or working areas on both commercial and recreational vessels. The engineered optical system ensures an effective lighting pattern for various applications.
The Sea Hawk-R operates within a voltage range of 9 to 32 volts, making it compatible with both 12V and 24V systems. It has a power consumption of 0.6 amps at 12 volts and 0.3 amps at 24 volts, offering energy efficiency.
