The SM Series speakers solve the age-old problem of achieving quality audio reproduction in shallow mounting depths. By incorporating a tuned, sealed enclosure into the back of the speaker, they eliminate the need for sufficient volume behind the speaker, resulting in high-quality sound even with a mounting depth of only 24mm [15/16"]. This unique feature allows you to install the speakers in areas where other speakers would not fit, such as cabinets.

For versatile installations, the SM Series offers two optional accessory mounting spacers to support various positions, ensuring flexibility and convenience during installation.

Designed to withstand the harsh marine environment, the SM Series speakers are IP65 rated for water and dust ingress protection from the front when installed correctly. They also meet industry standards for UV and salt fog protection, ensuring their durability and longevity in marine conditions.

In terms of features, the SM Series speakers boast a shallow basket design, making them ideal for installations with limited mounting depth. The tuned, sealed enclosure design protects the speaker's components and ensures exceptional audio reproduction that is typically not achievable in shallow designs. With a circular back and a mounting diameter clearance of 130mm [5-1/8"], these speakers can easily retrofit into existing 6.5" speaker cutouts. Additionally, they come with a high-end acoustic fabric grille, rounded edges, and contour cues, adding a touch of style to your vessel.

In terms of specifications, the SM-F65CW speakers feature a cloth grill cover and have a speaker enclosure size of 155mm x 155mm [6-1/8" x 6-1/8"]. With a peak power of 100W and a tuned and optimized 3" driver size, they deliver impressive performance. The efficiency is rated at 84 dB (1W/1M), and the frequency response ranges from 150 Hz to 20 kHz. The nominal impedance is 4 Ohms, and the cone/surround material is made of polypropylene with a rubber surround. With a mounting diameter clearance of 130mm (5-1/8") and a mounting depth clearance of 24mm (15/16"), these speakers offer flexibility during installation. They can operate in temperatures ranging from 0-50°C (32-122°F) and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -20-70°C (-4-158°F).
